Zusammenfassung

CGM is seeking a Senior Architect to shape the technology strategy, governance, and architectural practices across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments in Koblenz, Germany.

You will lead architecture governance, build an Architecture Guild, and coach engineers while driving enterprise-scale, AI-enabled initiatives in healthcare IT.

Qualifikationen

• Senior architect or Head of architecture with hands-on delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, and DDD.
• Practical experience with microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-native development models and AI-generated code implications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management up to executive level.

• Define and drive the technology strategy with the CTO and establish governance across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Set architectural guardrails for AI-native development and review AI-generated code against principles.
• Own technology lifecycle management from capability introduction to modernization and retirement.
• Define the role of architecture within the FIRE team delivery model and make it a fixed part of product development.
• Build the Architecture Guild and coach architects and senior engineers across teams.
• Engage with healthcare IT or regulated industries and lead credible initiatives with senior stakeholders.

You define and drive the technology strategy together with the CTO and establish effective governance frameworks across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You set the architectural guardrails for AI-native development, ensuring that AI-generated code is consistently reviewed against our architectural principles.

You own technology lifecycle management - from introducing new capabilities through to modernizing and retiring existing systems.

You define the role of architecture within the FIRE team delivery model and establish it as a fixed, operational part of our product development.

You build the Architecture Guild as an active community of practice, develop Guild leaders within the teams, and coach architects and senior engineers.

Several years of experience as a senior architect or Head of architecture in a complex, enterprise-wide technology environment - with demonstrable hands-on delivery, not just strategic advisory.

Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and domain-driven design in large-scale engineering contexts.

Practical experience with microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures, ideally across both greenfield and modernization projects.

Familiarity with AI-native development models and the architectural implications of AI-generated code and autonomous agents.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - credible from engineering teams up to executive board level, ideally with experience in healthcare IT or another regulated industry.

Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mobile work: Work flexibly on the move two days a week and on site three days a week.
