Job summary

MSK Emballage in Germany invites motivated trainees to become an IT Specialist for Application Development. The three-year apprenticeship starts on 1 September 2027, with the option to pursue a dual study program.

You learn to design, program, test and document software, work with modern languages and databases, and apply agile methods. After completion, opportunities await in software development, ERP, databases or IT project management.

Qualifications

• A good secondary school leaving certificate, vocational baccalaureate or A-levels.
• Interested in software development, programming and digital processes.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking, with a passion for tinkering and programming.
• Good organizational and teamwork skills with a structured approach to work.
• Proficiency in the standard MS Office programs.
• Initial personal experience with programming or IT projects (scripts, small programs or websites) is an advantage.
• Good command of English in an international environment.

Responsibilities

As trainee (m/f/d) in the area of IT Specialist (m/f/d) for Application Development at MSK, you will learn everything necessary for this multifaceted profession in three years. The starting date is September 1, 2027. It is also possible to complete a dual course of study during the training.

Vos missions

• You will learn how modern software solutions are designed, programmed, tested and documented – from the initial idea through to the live application.
• We will show you how to work with the latest programming languages, databases and interfaces, as well as agile working methods.
• You will work on further development and maintenance of our applications – for example, those related to our ERP system – and learn how to analyses, test and improve existing code.
• The apprenticeship is just the beginning: once you’ve successfully completed it, we’ll offer you a wide range of opportunities to shape your career path within the MSK Group – for example, in the fields of software development, ERP systems, databases or IT project management.
