• Digitalize data/document management and optimize internal processes; interface with customers.
• Communicate with customers and represent products internationally, including travel.

Job Description

Lead the team and take charge of global technical responsibility via product leadership, internal coordination and business development.

Responsibilities

• Global technical responsibility and marketing support: Global responsibility for technical development in the growing aerospace market, including material qualifications, specification management, application support, and generating technical input for marketing communication materials (websites, data sheets, etc.)
• Project leadership and management: Leading product development through to customer application, managing interdisciplinary and international teams, and promoting process development and material modifications to meet customer requirements
• Customer support and internal coordination: Handling technical customer inquiries and collaborating with internal departments such as production, quality management, research & development, and customer service
• Product and business development: Translating market and customer requirements into product specifications to optimize the product portfolio and support the acquisition of new projects in key target markets
• Digitalization: Applying methods for efficient data and document management, with continuous optimization of internal processes and at the interface with customers
• Communication and representation: Regular communication with customers and target market-specific contacts, as well as external representation of products and their properties, including domestic and international travel

Job Qualifications

• Education: Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or materials science
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in the composites or plastics industry with knowledge of the aerospace industry
• Knowledge: Experience in project management of complex technical projects and a sound understanding of mechanics and material properties
• Language skills: Business fluent in German and English
• Personal skills: Hands‑on mentality, ability to work in a team, diplomatic assertiveness with customer focus and leadership skills
