MT Aerospace AG in Augsburg is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern (m/f/d) to support CAD design, process development and digitization efforts for aerospace structures. You will create CAD models in Siemens NX and CATIA V5, contribute to 3D metrology readiness, and collaborate with Design, Planning, Measurement Technology and Manufacturing teams.

Your Tasks

• Creation of CAD models for machining aerospace structures with multiple setups, as well as
• Creation of inspection drawings in Siemens NX and (occasionally) Catia V5
• Creation and provision of CAD models for 3D metrology/optical measurement
• Working with and advancing PMI models in CAD (3D dimensioning instead of drawings)
• Contributing to the digitization of work content and workflows
• Participating in feasibility studies and developing improvement proposals for development projects (such as hydrogen tanks)
• Coordinating with specialized departments such as Design, Work Planning, Measurement Technology, Manufacturing, and NC Programming

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s (m/f/d) degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
