Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Pump Technology Engineer to design and size pumps, pumping stations, and system solutions for demanding customer applications. You will provide technical advice to customers, analyze requirements, and translate them into practical, value‑driven solutions while collaborating with Sales, Service and other internal specialists.

The role includes preparing quotations, developing modernization concepts for Xylem products, managing projects from inquiry through invoicing,

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical vocational training or a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, building services engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in pump technology, ideally in water or wastewater applications.
• Knowledge of pump and hydraulic system design is an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to translate individual customer requirements into suitable solutions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to visit customers in the region.

• Design and size pumps, pumping stations, and system solutions for demanding customer applications.

• Develop modernization, retrofit, and replacement concepts for Xylem products and systems from other manufacturers.
• Independently manage and process projects and orders from initial inquiry through invoicing.
• Conduct site assessments and resolve technical issues at customer locations.
• Support and advise existing and new customers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Handle technical inquiries and support complaint and warranty cases.
• Work closely with Sales, Service, and other internal specialist departments.
• Support complex technical troubleshooting and commissioning activities.
• Identify customer needs and new business opportunities.
