Zusammenfassung

KTPconTeyor Group is seeking an Application Engineer to translate customer requirements into tailor-made packaging concepts and coordinate prototype development with our engineering team. You will work closely with Account Managers to ensure sound packaging concepts and provide technical advice during project execution.

Onboarding in Poland and at HQ in Bous, Saarland, leads to a hybrid work model with regular travel to HQ and customer sites in Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• First experience as an Application Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager is required.
• Good command of CAD software; knowledge of Siemens NX is a strong asset.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.

• Independently manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring quality, timelines and budget targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Engineering and Procurement for smooth project execution.
• Travel to HQ in Bous and customer sites in Germany; work mainly from home after onboarding.

YOUR ROLE : Design Packaging Solutions & coordinate project execution

As an Application Engineer, you translate customer requirements into tailor-made packaging concepts and coordinate prototype development and validation with our engineering team

Your main responsibilities are:

• Work closely with Account Managers to translate customer needs into sound packaging concepts
• Provide technical advice to customers and the Sales team throughout project execution
• Create innovative returnable packaging solutions using textiles, plastics and steel
• Independently manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring quality, timelines and budget targets
• Coordinate prototype development and validation with the engineering team
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, engineering and Procurement to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and ensure effective alignment across cross-functional teams
• After an in-depth onboarding in Poland and at our HQ in Bous, Saarland, you will work primarily from home, with regular travel to our HQ and customer sites in Germany

YOUR PROFILE : Technical & customer-focused engineer

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• We are looking for a mature, self-driven engineer combining technical understanding with project coordination and client-facing skills
• A first experience as an Application Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager is required
• Good command of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software; knowledge of Siemens NX is a strong asset.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is require
