Zusammenfassung

Flexoptix GmbH in Darmstadt is seeking a hands-on Android developer to build and maintain our native Kotlin app, from design to Play Store release, and to integrate with embedded devices.

You will collaborate across disciplines—iOS, backend, hardware and QA—designed with Figma, using Jetpack Compose and modern architectures, with a strong focus on clean code, testing and agile practices.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of professional Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Material3, Coroutines/Flow and modern architectures.
• Experience with Android Studio, Git, Jenkins Pipelines.
• Proficient in testing (unit) and Scrum/agile processes.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude) and evaluation of their output.
• Advantageous: Kotlin Multiplatform, Firebase, Java, iOS/Swift familiarity.
• Strong language skills: German A1 and English C1 in writing and speaking.

That's You

Experience in using tools such as Android Studio, Git, Jenkins Pipelines

Confident in testing (unit) and agile development methods (Scrum)

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude) and critical evaluation of their output

Advantageous: Kotlin Multiplatform, Firebase, Java, iOS/Swift familiarity

Strong language skills – German at A1 and English at C1 level in written and spoken. What matters most is confident communication in both languages, in writing and speaking
