Flexoptix GmbH in Darmstadt is seeking an experienced Android developer to design, build and maintain our native Android app in Kotlin, from concept through Play Store release.

You will collaborate with iOS, backend, hardware and QA teams, apply modern architecture patterns, and write clean, testable code while evaluating AI-assisted tools like Copilot and Claude.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Material3, Coroutines/Flow and modern architecture patterns.
• Experience using Android Studio, Git, Jenkins Pipelines.
• Confident in unit testing and Scrum/agile development methods.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools (Copilot, Claude) and evaluation of their outputs.
• Advantageous: Kotlin Multiplatform, Firebase, Java, iOS/Swift familiarity.
• Strong German (A1) and English (C1) written and spoken.
