Ciena is seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to design advanced circuitry using CMOS/BiCMOS technology and to help define specifications for new ASIC features. You will work with development, test, and design teams to ensure seamless feature delivery and robust validation.

You will be mentored and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge prototype hardware while contributing to the company’s culture of innovation and inclusion in Braunschweig, Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS, test planning/execution, and QA processes.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or Electronics (MCA, M.Tech., B.Tech.) required.

In this role, you will:

• Design advanced circuitry applying latest advanced CMOS and BiCMOS technology nodes
• Participate in requirement definitions and reviews and help define detailed specifications for new ASIC features.
• Define and help executing test plans to validate your designs.
• Work cross-functionally with engineers in development, test, and design teams to ensure seamless feature delivery
• Be mentored and supported as you grow in your role, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and emerging prototype hardware.

The Must Haves To succeed in this role:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics (MCA, M.Tech., B.Tech.)
• Hands-on experience with: Linux OS Test planning and execution Basic knowledge of network hardware setup, troubleshooting, and QA processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative, tenacious, and detail-oriented mindset.
