Texas Instruments Kilby Labs in Freising, Germany is seeking an Analog IC Design Engineer. You will define, design, model and verify analog/mixed-signal ICs and participate in IP development from system definition to production transfer.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, attend trade fairs, and interact with academia to explore new chip functions. A Master's degree in EE or related field is required; strong communication and drive for results are valued.

You'll define, design, model and verify integrated circuits, with the opportunity to work in a lot of exciting areas and with industry experts.

Kilby Labs is looking for a qualified candidate as a analog design engineer. Kilby engineers have the opportunity to participate in every aspect of the IP development including system definition, design, simulations, prototyping, bench evaluation, transfer to production, and customer visits. Kilby engineers are required to be self-motivated, critical thinkers, clear communicators, and be able to influence both technical and business leaders all within in team environments


As an Analog IC Design Engineer in Kilby Labs Nanotech, some of your responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreeable design specifications
  • Participate in design reviews and supervise IC layouts and devise new circuit concepts for product- and pre-development
  • Characterize prototypes, improve test setups and analysis of data generated
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to develop new chip functions
  • Silicon system evaluation (HW, SW if needed) and related documentation
  • Interact with Academia and Industry to develop new modalities and identify opportunities
  • Physics and circuit modelling based on personal experience and/or literature research
  • Attend Trade Fairs and Conferences
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their application
  • Familiarity with lab equipment and silicon validation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
