Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is hiring for warehouse roles in Germany. You will prepare, pack, and ship customer orders, using scanners and following safety protocols.

Training for powered industrial trucks is provided. The role offers full-time and part-time shifts with fixed schedules and a monthly Deutschlandticket benefit. Starting hourly gross wage is 16.69€ with guaranteed increases to 16.89€ after 12 months and 18.90€ after 24 months.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English, and Arabic.
• Able to understand and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up.
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment.
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products.
• View prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks.
• Troubleshoot problems to keep orders moving.
• Ensure products meet quality requirements.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and work at heights up to 13m; equipment training is provided.

Shifts

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles. Please note that not all shifttypes are always available, and availability may include the following:

Full-time shifts (30+ hours/week):

• Early: Monday: 5:00 - 14:45, Tuesday - Friday: 6:00 - 14:45, Saturday: 10:45 -18:00
• Late: Monday - Friday: 14:45 - 23:30
• Night: Sunday: 18:35 -5:00, Monday: 23:30 -5:00, Tuesday - Thursday: 23:30 - 6:00, Friday - Saturday: 23:30 -8:15

Working week: Monday to Saturday (5 working days as standard)

You’ll also need to be able to

• Lift up to 15kg
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English, Arabic, with the ability to understand and adhere to all jobrequirement and safety guidelines.
