OHB System AG – We.Create.Space in Bremen is seeking an AIT Systems Engineering Team Lead to guide a high-performing team within the AIT Division. You will coordinate across disciplines and locations, supporting continuous improvement of AIT methodologies and ensuring project deliverables meet quality and schedule.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent, several years of satellite‑project experience in AIT, and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Aufgaben

• Disciplinary responsibility for AIT Systems Engineering team members and their development.
• Organize trainings for AIT teams and develop new AIT teams in Bremen in cooperation with AIT in Oberpfaffenhofen.
• Chair team meetings to transfer knowledge, apply lessons learned and harmonize methods.
• Implement a permanent improvement process and cover peak workloads.
• Report to the Head of AIT Systems Engineering and Support Department.
• Develop and apply lean AIT principles (e.g. 5S, Scrum) and consider Lessons Learned.
• Ensure close cooperation with Systems Engineering and Verification to deliver inputs on time and in quality.

As the AIT Systems Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team within the AIT Division. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless collaboration across disciplines and locations while fostering continuous improvement in AIT methodologies.

Your Tasks

TeamLeader Responsibilities

• Disciplinary responsibility for the AIT Systems Engineering team members,including their personal development
• Responsible for the elaboration and organization of trainings for the AIT teams
• Development of the new AIT Systems Engineering teams in Bremen incooperation and agreement with AIT in Oberpfaffenhofen
• Organization and chairing of team meetings to assure the know-how transferbetween projects, application of lessons learnt and harmonization of methodsbetween projects
• Implementation of a permanent improvement process
• Cover peak workloads in the projects
• Report to the Head of AIT Systems Engineering and Support Department

Responsibilities of the System AIT TEAM

• Development & application of lean AIT principles (e.g. 5S method, scrum)
• Consideration of company Lessons Learnt

System AIT:

• Interdisciplinary responsibility on AIT tasks
• Work preparation for AIT activities (identification of needed documents,responsibility for availability of documents, generation and update of AITFlows, NCR tracking, organization of daily briefings)
• Ensure close cooperation with other disciplines, in particular SystemsEngineering and Verification, to assure delivery of inputs in quality and time

Your Qualifications

• Typical relevant education: Completed engineering studies in a relevant area or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in the field of AIT
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills
• Inventive concerning AIT methods and testing
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German
