Zusammenfassung

ALTEN in Germany is seeking a test engineer to prepare tests for electrical and mechanical subsystems in an AIT environment. You will set up test equipment and configurations and perform hands-on testing.

You will analyze results, document activities to project and quality standards, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and system engineers. English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable field.
• Initial practical testing experience (test execution, test setups, early-stage procedures or validation).
• Experience in AIT is desirable.
• Structured, analytical, detail-oriented testing mindset.
• Able to work hands-on and digitally (documentation, procedure writing).
• Not purely manufacturing nor software-focused; combine hardware proximity with systematic testing.

Qualifications

• have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• have initial practical experience in testing (e.g., test execution, test setups, early-stage procedures or validation)
• have experience in AIT
• have a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented testing mindset
• are comfortable working both hands‑on and digitally (documentation, procedure writing)
• are neither purely manufacturing-focused nor purely software-focused — you enjoy combining hardware proximity with systematic testing
• have strong communication skills in English, German is a plus and a collaborative approach
