Airworthiness Engineer – Design Assurance (m / f / d)

Lead the future of commercial aircraft modifications within Boeing Global Services (BGS) EASA Modifications IPT. You will drive safety, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence as part of the Office of Airworthiness (OOA).
Responsibilities
- Investigate occurrence reports and conduct Root Cause Analysis to define and implement corrective actions.
- Support the Independent Monitoring Function and OOA in developing corrective actions from internal and external findings.
- Collaborate across all DOA sites to ensure process improvements are suitable for all locations and work scopes.
- Assist in publishing training and awareness of updates to DAS processes.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years aviation or aerospace industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Engineering Field.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis, Containment Action Definition, and Corrective Action Implementation for occurrences, risks, and hazards.
- Working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements, including (E)TSO CS‑25, CS‑25, CFR Part 25, and Part 21J.
- Strong collaboration skills, ability to mentor, and excellent communication in English.
- Integrity, safety orientation, accountability, and a proactive, positive attitude.
