Innodata Inc. is building a pool of native German-speaking freelancers based in Germany to support high-impact AI data projects.

You will annotate and label data, review AI outputs, and perform red-teaming to stress-test models while providing structured feedback. Ideal candidates hold a top German degree and demonstrate rigorous analytical thinking, with strong German language skills and solid English proficiency.

About the Role

We’re building a pool of native German-speaking freelancers to support high-impact AI data projects - annotation, quality review, and red-teaming for advanced AI systems. We’re looking for candidates with strong academic credentials from top German institutions who bring analytical rigor and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Annotate and label data according to structured guidelines
• Review and quality-check AI-generated or human-annotated content
• Conduct red-teaming exercises to stress-test AI model outputs
• Provide structured feedback and identify edge cases or failure patterns

Who We’re Looking For

• Native German speaker, based in Germany
• Strong English proficiency (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD from a top-tier German institution (e.g., LMU Munich, TU Munich, Heidelberg University, Humboldt University Berlin, RWTH Aachen, University of Mannheim, Freie Universität Berlin, or equivalent)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working independently on structured digital tasks
• Prior experience in research, data annotation, linguistics, or content review is a plus (not required)
