Jackalope Digital LLC in Germany seeks a senior AI software engineer to integrate generative AI into applications, lead architectural decisions, and drive innovation across cloud-native projects. You will analyze data quality, evaluate AI-enabled systems, and guide teams through complex integrations using LangChain and OpenAI.

The role requires deep experience in AI, multiple programming languages, and strong communication in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed Master’s degree in AI or IT with initial AI software development experience.
• Several years of professional experience in AI software development for senior level.
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other language (JS/TS/Go/Java).
• Hands-on experience with generative AI and LangChain and best practices.
• Experience with AI-ready databases (relational, vector, graph).
• Cloud-native development and DevOps experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).
• API design and full-stack development; ability to lead projects.
• Proficiency in German and English at C1 level.

YOUR PROFIL

• You hold a completed degree (preferably a Master’s) with a focus on AI or IT, ideally with initial professional experience in AI software development
  • Senior level: You bring several years of professional experience and proven project success in AI software development
• You have solid knowledge of Python and at least one additional programming language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Java)
  • Senior level: You possess deep expertise and extensive hands-on experience with these technologies
• You have practical experience in integrating and using generative AI technologies as well as frameworks such as LangChain
  • Senior level: You have profound expertise and the ability to establish and enforce best practices.
• You have experience working with AI-ready database systems (relational databases, vector databases, and graph databases)
  • Senior level: You bring extensive experience in complex integration projects
• You have experience in cloud-native development and DevOps practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)
  • Senior level: You take architectural responsibility and bring relevant practical experience.
• You have knowledge of API design and full-stack software development
  • Senior level: You have experience leading and being accountable for development projects
• You are passionate about customer‑centric application development and innovative technologies
  • Senior level: You actively drive innovation and lead teams
• You are a team player, a strong communicator, and work independently in a structured manner
  • Senior level: You act as a solution‑oriented point of contact and support other developers
• You have very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
