About Tekkr

We work primarily with other cutting-edge startups (Parloa, Orbem, Forto, Vimcar...) and help them get even further ahead. You will work with a highly capable Tekkr team and gain real-life exposure to customers and collaborate with their tech leadership on exciting challenges.

Product and Tech

We have built an initial software product based on React, MongoDB, shadcn and modern AI-tooling (e.g. RAG, Langfuse). We use this product to run real customer engagements and projects to deeply explore customer problems. Our goal is to build something people want. We learn fast, iterate quickly, and need your help to become even faster.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development skills ideally in the Tekkr stack: Node, React, MongoDB
• Architect AI-native systems: design and build systems that start with AI; build, test and deploy autonomous agents, RAG pipelines and LLM-powered workflows as core product components
• Operate at 10x leverage: use AI as your primary co-developer; focus on leveraging AI to handle 80% of tasks so you can address the critical 20%
• Full-spectrum ownership: take ideas from a customer conversation through to deployed AI-powered solutions, architect, design (with shadcn), build and iterate rapidly
• Shape the future: as a founding engineer, influence product roadmap, engineering culture, and overall success

Requirements

Hard requirements

• Full professional proficiency in English; German is a plus
• Berlin-based; plan to start building a local team with potential remote work
• European work permit required

Who you are

• You think in leverage, not lines of code; you strive for efficiency and would rather craft a prompt-chain that saves time than do it the old way
• You are fluent in modern AI; you have built non-trivial projects with LLMs, understand RAG, and have experience with agentic frameworks, simulations & evaluations
• You are a pragmatic prototyper with a ship-it mentality; a 90% AI-powered solution today is preferable to a 99% manual solution later
• You are a systems thinker; you can reason about vector databases, context windows and API costs as easily as about REST APIs
• You are entrepreneurial; you have built your own projects, freelanced, or led a community and know how to iterate with real-world feedback
