Job summary

European Tech Recruit is partnering with a multinational Telecommunications & SW R&D company in Munich. They are seeking an AI Engineer for E2E Advanced Driving to drive safety-critical AI systems and contribute to next-generation autonomous driving solutions.

You will define safety concepts, architectures, validation strategies, and risk management approaches for L2–L4 systems, work on end-to-end models, and collaborate with global R&D teams on cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent field.
• 3+ years of work experience with end-to-end models.
• Excellent understanding of AI-based solutions, neural networks architectures, hardware and software platforms for Advanced Driving systems.
• Practical experience applying AI-based solutions to safety in Advanced Driving systems.
• Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to inspire teammates.
• Professional proficiency in English; German knowledge is an advantage.
• Willing to travel abroad (up to 25% of the time).

• Investigate and develop risk assessment algorithms using AI for Advanced Driving system.

You'll define safety concepts, architectures, validation strategies, and risk management approaches for L2–L4 systems. Requirements

• MSc or PhD. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent field.
• Ideally 3+ years of work experience with end-to-end models.
• Excellent understanding of AI-based solution, neural network architectures, hardware and software platforms for Advanced Driving systems, nominal performance evaluation and improvement.
• Practical experience in applying AI-based solution to solve safety related problem in Advanced Driving system.
• Hands‑on attitude and positive engagement to inspire and motivate teammates.
• Professional proficiency in English. German knowledge are an advantage.
• Willing to travel abroad (up to 25% of the time).
