Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an AI Chatbot Tester to provide human feedback that helps shape the safety and usefulness of cutting-edge AI systems. You will engage with chatbots, assess responses for clarity and quality, and help identify biases or unsafe outputs from diverse topic discussions.

This fully remote, flexible hourly contract lets you set your schedule and commit 10–40 hours per week. Your evaluations will influence real-world AI behavior across multiple sessions and topics.

Responsibilities

• Hold natural conversations with AI chatbots across a wide range of topics.
• Rate and evaluate chatbot responses for helpfulness, accuracy, tone, and safety.
• Spot issues like factual errors, awkward phrasing, bias, or unsafe outputs.
• Push AI limits by crafting creative, tricky, or edge-case prompts.
• Submit clear, structured feedback using guided evaluation forms.
• Work independently and asynchronously - no meetings, no micromanagement.

• Push AI limits by crafting creative, tricky, or edge-case prompts to expose weaknesses
• Submit clear, structured feedback using guided evaluation forms

Who You Are

• A clear and confident written communicator
• Comfortable navigating chat-based digital interfaces
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No technical background or prior AI experience required - your everyday perspective is exactly what we need

• Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots (though not required)
