Wirkaufendeinenflug.de is a new venture backed startup emerging in Hamburg with huge ambitions to change the airline industry. We offer passengers who suffered from delayed flights compensation (up to 3.5bn EUR) based on a dynamic scoring algorithm that learns with every additional data point. Affiliate Marketing Ninja

Responsibilities

• Analyze, monitor and control our Affiliate Marketing/ Partnership campaigns
• Develop and carry out strategic partnership
• Business development, specific affiliate marketing strategies and optimization tactics
• Develop opportunities, retain and expand business initiatives with new partners
• Assist the management teams in leveraging existing partnerships to grow revenue within existing accounts
• Phrase concrete recommended action plans for the team
• Generate and present statistics, results and reports

Profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in managing affiliate marketing campaigns and strategic partnership
• Experience in identifying, vetting and recruiting affiliates to join each program, and engaging with bloggers and influencers
• Experience building relationships and optimizing the marketing programs to increase effectiveness
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills to monitor the activity of key affiliates and bloggers
• Ideally you have a good general understanding of Online Marketing
• A high level of independence, dedication and organization
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and affinity for numbers
• Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus

Public Relations Smasher

Responsibilities

• Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
• Coordinate all public relations activities
• Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
• Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis
• Create the social media strategy and create budgets for social media activities

Profile

• Proven working experience in public relations required
• Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
• Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus

Digital Marketing Ninja

Responsibilities

• Design and implement wirkaufendeinenflug.de marketing strategy across all channels – including social, email, SEM, SEO, PR, in-app messaging, affiliate, content marketing as well as data planning & analysis
• Initially focus on user acquisition through paid online media
• Monitor and analyze our user journey, from awareness to retention, and implement effective techniques to drive user acquisition and increase lifetime value
• Work with media companies and bloggers in the parenting space to develop effective content partnerships
• Work closely with the management team to build relationships with the media / social influencers and ensure effective promotion of wirkaufendeinenflug.de
• Effectively communicate growth efforts and outcomes within the company

Profile

• 2 years experience in digital marketing, ideally with early-stage tech companies
• Data-driven, with excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of SEO, social media advertising, email platforms and Google Analytics / MixPanel
• Ambition and creativity to pursue unconventional channels
• Fluent in German and English; other languages are a plus

Display & Online Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Setting up, running and scaling up our online marketing channels (display, affiliate, SEA)
• Be responsible for your own marketing budget
• Defining and managing our display marketing mix in close collaboration with a senior online marketing agency
• Campaign planning, negotiations, analysis and reporting
• Ads creation and optimization, technical setup
• Get up to speed and let your learning curve go crazy

Profile

• Bachelor/Master degree in economics; if you’ve gained so far more practical experience, we’d also love to hear from you
• 1+ year experience in Display, Retargeting, and Facebook Ads
• Familiarity with tracking systems, capable of creating technical concepts for retargeting implementation
• Passionate about performance marketing and display advertising
• Strong analytical skills + attention to details
• You know excel, you know how to google things you don’t know and you are ready to get your performance on
• Capable of leveraging the abilities of the channel to meet branding and performance objectives
• Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus

Developer / CTO Collaboration

Responsibilities

• Implement conceptual and design related projects in direct collaboration with the CTO
• Troubleshooting, system integration and development of solutions
• May include some development in PHP or Java and Mobile Apps

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or additional equivalent experience beyond minimum qualifications expected
• Basic understanding of PHP and Java
• Nice to have: LESS or Sass and Compass
• Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus
