Gramian Consultancy is seeking a senior Aerospace Simulation Engineer to support development, testing, and maintenance of simulation models for avionics systems. You will derive, implement, and test component models and collaborate with engineering teams.

Onsite role in Friedrichshafen, Germany with relocation support; EU passport required; English fluency required; German a plus. Full-time contractor agreement; multi-year commitment.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the space or aerospace industry.
• Experience with simulation of complex space or aerospace avionics systems.
• Experience deriving, implementing, testing, or validating simulation models.
• Experience with software testing, code structure, and technical documentation.
• Experience using test data for model validation or system identification.
• Good knowledge of the SimTG Modeling Framework is a big plus.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Aerospace Simulation Engineer to support the development, testing, and maintenance of simulation models for complex avionics systems. The role focuses on component model derivation, system simulation, model validation, system identification, structured software testing, and technical support for engineering teams using simulation models.

This position is well suited for an experienced space or aerospace engineer with strong simulation background, good coding practices, and experience working with Matlab/Simulink or comparable modeling toolchains.

CONTRACT: Contractor Agreement

COMMITMENT: Full-time (multi-year)

LOCATIONS: ONSITE Friedrichshafen Germany; Relocation support

NOTES: EU passport needed; English fluency is required; German is a plus.
