Location: Our office in Hamburg (preferred), Düsseldorf, Hybrid

Your mission

We are looking for an Advertising & Content Manager to own the Italy Amazon retail media strategy and execution. This is a fixed-term contract (2 years) covering a critical market. You'll own the day-to-day execution of Amazon campaigns across the full funnel - from Sponsored Products and PPC through to DSP, Display, and Prime Video (CTV). Knowledge of how advertising metrics combine with digital shelf indicators for a comprehensive view of performance is also key.

This role works closely with Marketing, eCommerce, Media, Brands, and Marketplace teams, serving as the key connection between paid media execution and effective content.

Core Role: Amazon Campaign Execution & Optimisation

• Manage and optimise Amazon PPC and DSP campaigns for the Italian market to boost sales and visibility
• Adjust bids, budgets, targeting, and creatives daily to improve ROAS and reduce ACoS
• Use platforms like Pacvue or BidX to efficiently manage campaigns and gain actionable insights
• Align Amazon Advertising with promotional calendars to maximise impact during key events

Reporting and analysis

• Track and report metrics showing how advertising and content improvements drive results
• Pinpoint where ads compensate for weak content and highlight opportunities to optimise content to reduce spend
• Systematically test creative, messaging, and content improvements to guide strategy
• Report regularly to stakeholders, emphasising the joint effect of advertising and content

Your profile

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, eCommerce, or digital advertising - agency, brand, or retail side
• Experience using advertising management tools such as Pacvue, Skai, BidX, or similar platforms
• Practical experience managing Amazon Advertising campaigns (PPC/Sponsored Ads); DSP experience
• Language skills: Fluent in English and Italian; basic proficiency in German
