Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring an Advanced Service Technician to maintain and repair up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway stores in a designated region. The home base is in New Port Richey, FL, with responsibilities across HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and dispensing systems.

You will resolve issues to keep stores operable 24/7, ensure high-quality repairs, and support cross-functional projects. Requires 4+ years experience and EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred.
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred.
• Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred.
• 4+ years work experience preferred.
• Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification for refrigerants.
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus.
• General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus.
• Maintenance or repair certifications a plus.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Resolves maintenance and services issues at RaceTrac and Raceway locations to ensure 24/7 operability.
• Ensures each repair is performed with high quality and optimal customer service.
• Serves as a knowledge expert in HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and dispensing systems.
• Maintains tools and inventory on the service vehicle following RaceTrac policies.
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments for store initiatives.
• Responds to ad hoc maintenance requests from store personnel.
• Keeps up with local/state guidelines for facility services.
• Works with other ASTs to cross-train in multiple trades.
• Adheres to RaceTrac safety policies and guidelines.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more regularly.

The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times.

The home store for this position is based at 5923 S.R. 54

What You’ll Do:

• Resolves maintenance and services issues at RaceTrac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company.
• Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain tools and inventory on aservice vehicle
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
• Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Works with other AST’s to cross train in multiple trades

What We’re Looking For:
