MBDA is seeking a highly skilled engineer to contribute to dynamic system modelling and validation against hardware data, leveraging MATLAB & Simulink.

The successful candidate will lead technical initiatives, collaborate across teams, and accelerate system-level development within a hybrid work model.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience with mathematical content (e.g. Control Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science).
• Proven experience in technical leadership and collaboration across teams.
• Strong understanding of dynamic systems and mathematical modelling with mechanical systems, motors and sensors.
• Proven ability to validate mathematical models using real-world hardware performance data.

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience with mathematical content (e.g Control Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science)

• Strong understanding of dynamic systems and mathematical modelling, which include mechanical systems, motor and feedback systems such as sensors.
• Experienced user of MATLAB & Simulink tools
• Proven experience of process improvement and being a part of a continuous improvement culture
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence, collaborate and network
• A proven ability to validate mathematical models using real-world hardware performance data
• Ability to generate sub-system or component requirements in support of system architecture development
• Conduct Monte Carlo simulations to assess product performance and reliability across a range of stochastic variable and expected manufacturing tolerances

Salary: Between £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Dynamic Working We want our people to work when and where they feel they can be most effective.
