Jobtailor seeks an experienced claims accounting leader to own the claims accounting area, resolve historical discrepancies, and implement clean forward processes for premium trust and funding. You will shadow the team through month-end close and streamline cross-system reporting with advanced Excel, automation tools, and AI capabilities.

Required is deep insurance sector experience, knowledge of MGA/delegated authority, and a track record of optimizing finance workflows.

• Leverage advanced Excel, automation tools, and AI capabilities such as Copilot Pro
• Eliminate manual data entry and streamline cross-system reporting
• Handle high-volume bank reconciliations and bordereaux reporting
• Act as a thought partner to finance leadership
• Provide technical accounting context
• Drive continuous improvement across teams in San Diego, Dallas, New York, and North Carolina

Requirements

• Deep experience in the insurance sector is required
• Specific knowledge of MGA/delegated authority models
• Knowledge of premium trust accounting and carrier reporting is a massive advantage
• Strong grasp of complex accounting frameworks
• CPA/CA preferred
• Proven track record of optimizing finance and accounting workflows
