Accounting Manager - Offenbach
Up to €125,000 (subject to experience) plus bonus

The Accounting Manager leads the day‑to‑day accounting and financial reporting activities for various corporate development entities located in Europe, including but not limited to France, Germany, Italy, and Luxembourg.
In addition, the Accounting Manager will oversee accounting and financial reporting activities for commercial data center entities. The role is responsible for protecting company assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
What you will get to do:
- Review and approve journal entries
- Review and approve the allocation of company expenses and overhead costs
- Review and approve account variance analysis and reconciliations
- Review, approve, and present monthly and quarterly financial statements including the associated work packages to senior management
- Review and approve invoices for proper coding and preparation for payment
- Review and approve all cross‑company transactions and prepare invoices as required
- Review and approve monthly drawdown packages for submission to lenders, including assistance with due diligence on equity investment deals
- Lead the compilation of financial data and other audit requirements
- Review and approve monthly tenant and customer invoices
- Assist with other accounting projects as required
- Travel to locations, customer meetings, training courses, or conferences as required
- Support VAT return preparation in conjunction with indirect tax team
- Supervise and train junior accounting professionals
Requirements:
- Ability to train and motivate colleagues
- Ability to advise and support senior management across levels
- Experience fostering a culture of success through hands‑on problem‑solving
- Strong quantitative skills • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferred
- Experience with consolidation and FX accounting preferred
- Cash flow preparation experience preferred
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Strong communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in environments that value customer service

- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Experience with Yardi or similar software preferred
- Experience in real estate accounting preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least seven (7) years of professional accounting experience
- Fluency in English and either German or French
