The Green Recruitment Company in Hamburg is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting under German GAAP (HGB) and collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors. The role offers hybrid work with up to two days remote per week and a clear path for process improvement.

You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements for partnerships and corporations, handle VAT returns, and drive digitalisation of workflows while maintaining high accuracy and timely

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as a Financial Accountant, Certified Accountant, Tax Specialist, or equivalent qualification.
• Solid practical experience in accounting in a comparable role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Independent, structured, and proactive approach to work.
• Strong interest in digital tools and new technologies, including AI-supported processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivation to continuously improve processes and ways of working.
• Very good German skills, at least C1 level, both written and spoken.
• Good English skills are an advantage.
