Jobtailor is seeking a remote Senior Accountant to manage accounting for five U.S.-based e-commerce brands. You will ensure accurate books in QuickBooks Online, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close with AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements include 3+ years of accounting, QuickBooks Pro-Advisor certification, Google Workspace, and ability to overlap U.S. Central hours. Remote, full-time position with emphasis on accuracy and automation.

• Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple U.S. companies in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform bank, credit card, merchant, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
• Review transactions for proper account classification and accounting treatment.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and month-end adjustments.
• Complete assigned portions of month-end close independently across five brands.
• Review AP and AR, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and review merchant processor activity.
• Review inventory and COGS-related activity and perform revenue reconciliation.

• Review inventory and COGS-related activity and perform revenue reconciliation
• Assist with U.S. sales tax responsibilities, including reviewing state liabilities and reconciling sales tax payable accounts
• Gather and organize financial documentation for audits and compliance reviews
• Pull General Ledger and Trial Balance data and prepare supporting schedules
• Work with third-party sales tax platforms and providers
• Work directly with the Controller
• Improve efficiency and workflows using an AI-forward mindset
• Take ownership of accounting responsibilities across five U.S.-based e-commerce wellness brands

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• QuickBooks Pro-Advisor Certification required
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Availability for at least some daily overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours
