Zusammenfassung

TillerStack Germany GmbH in Berlin is seeking a Financial Accountant to own day-to-day accounting for our German entity and collaborate with the Group Finance team in the UK.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, VAT, closings, and audits under German HGB and GoBD, using DATEV and Excel. A part-time start, with potential transition to full-time, reflects our flexible, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifikationen

• Completed commercial or accounting qualification.
• Several years of experience in financial accounting in Germany, ideally within a GmbH.
• Good knowledge of German HGB and GoBD requirements.
• Experience with DATEV or comparable accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Fluent German and very good English skills.
• Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style.
• Further qualification as a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (IHK) is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Independently manage day-to-day accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, and credit card transactions
• Record and post financial transactions in accordance with German HGB and GoBD requirements
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items and posting discrepancies
• Prepare payments and support the invoicing process
• Support monthly and annual financial closings and Group reporting
• Prepare VAT returns in collaboration with tax advisors and work with external auditors
• Support audits, intercompany reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting entries
• Maintain the fixed asset register and contribute to the optimization of digital accounting processes
