Qualifications
  • Several years of enterprise software sales experience within the medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Deep understanding of regulated production workflows, validation requirements, and QMS/Quality processes (CAPA, NCR, Document Control, Audit Management).
  • Proven track record selling into complex, compliance-heavy environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with QMS, MES, LIMS, PLM, or other regulated software systems is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to articulate value in environments governed by ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, MDR, and GMP standards.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, influence decisions, and navigate complex buying centers.
  • Strong understanding of industrial production environments, quality processes, and shopfloor workflows (a plus).
  • Experience in both hunting and farming — comfortable with both new logo acquisition and account expansion.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of ownership, structure, and accountability.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Dynamics, or similar).
  • Fluent English; German or other European languages are an advantage.
  • A bachelor’s degree is essential, and a master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

As Account Manager / Account Director – Mechanical Engineering, you will own a portfolio of key industrial and machinery manufacturing customers.

Your mission is to expand CSP’s footprint across production, assembly, quality management, and service environments — enabling customers to increase operational excellence, reduce defect costs, and digitize their quality workflows.

You will work closely with engineering leaders, operations teams, quality managers, IT departments, and industrial executives to guide their transformation journeys toward modern cloud-based QMS and Shopfloor solutions.

Position details
  • Own the full sales cycle for CSP’s quality and shopfloor solutions across medical device manufacturers and life sciences suppliers.
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with customer priorities such as compliance automation, validation readiness, process control, and digital traceability.
  • Identify whitespace, including electronic records, audit trail management, SPC, CAPA workflows, supplier quality, and cloud-based QMS modernization.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving quality/regulatory (QA/RA), operations, engineering, IT, procurement and validation functions.
  • Expand existing accounts through multi-site rollouts, harmonization initiatives, and system modernization programs.
  • Build strong multi-threaded relationships across production, regulatory affairs, R&D, and senior leadership.
  • Communicate CSP’s value in the context of medical device regulations: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, MDR, GMP, GAMP5, and related standards.
  • Collaborate closely with PreSales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure successful evaluations, documentation support, and implementation readiness.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and reporting with disciplined sales methodologies.
  • Represent CSP at MedTech events, regulatory conferences, and supplier quality forums.
