JOBSTODAY.WORLD in Germany is seeking a reliable Accountant to join their finance and accounting team, with on-site/hybrid options across multiple locations.

You will maintain records, manage payables and receivables, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and tax regulations. Fluent German is required; SAP/DATEV experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Bookkeeper.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations.
• Experience with DATEV or SAP and other accounting software.

Aufgaben

• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances.

• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory financial reports.
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies.

*This position is not remote. We have multiple onsite locations across the Germany for our client.

For our client, a well-established company in Germany, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance and accounting team.

Salary Range: €50,000 – €80,000 per annum + Bonus (depending on experience and qualifications)

Location: Germany (Multiple Locations) - On-site / Hybrid (depending on company requirements)

Your Responsibilities:-

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping in accordance with German accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Your Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Fluent German language skills required; English is a plus.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter) are an advantage
