Zusammenfassung

University of Konstanz invites a predoc or postdoc to work with the Research Methods, Assessment, and iScience team on research, teaching, and administrative support. The role includes developing internet-based research methods, open science tools, and psychometric applications; mentoring bachelor and master theses; and teaching a minimum of two hours per week.

The position is part-time (50%), with English and German as working languages.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Psychology (predoc: Diploma or Master; postdoc: PhD), with good to very good grades.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English
• Experience with internet-based research, psychometrics, or related tools is desirable.

The start date is October 15th, 2026 or by agreement. The position is available initially for three years (predoc) or two years (postdoc).

The University of Konstanz is a dynamic and internationally successful research university with approximately 10,000 students. The successful candidate will integrate with the Research Methods, Assessment, and iScience team to conduct research, teach, and help with administrative tasks. There will be opportunity to work towards achieving a PhD or the post-PhD degree “Habilitation” (or equivalent). Applicants near or with finished Habilitation or near finishing of their PhD are also welcome to apply. Working languages are English and German.

• Competent use of standard software and statistical software
• Programming skills and affinity with social media/Internet are welcome
