Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
• Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or in final year (graduating Summer 2027).
• Availability to start full-time employment by July 2027.
• Preferably 6+ months of internship in M&A/Private Equity or related fields.
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of valuation methodologies and applications.
• Proficient in financial modelling and using Excel/PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sell-side and buy-side M&A engagements in the Technology sector in Frankfurt.
• Assist in financial analysis, due diligence, and drafting presentations for clients.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and gain exposure to capital-raising considerations.
• Research financial statements, market conditions, and deal attributes.
• Contribute to live engagements and related transaction processes.

Our Technology Group is seeking a Graduate Financial Analyst to join our Frankfurt team as part of the Houlihan Lokey Graduate Class of 2027.

Scope

As a Graduate Financial Analyst you will work on corporate finance engagements for companies within our Technology M&A advisory team based in Frankfurt. The group's engagements principally include sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the Tech sector. As a dedicated member of our transaction team, you will be responsible for supporting these assignments.

You will work with a talented, dedicated staff of professionals who will give you broad exposure to the many different issues and concerns affecting companies and investors today.

You will research and analyse financial statements, general economic conditions, industry-specific developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and investment attributes of publicly traded and private companies. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both German and English is required (additional language skills are also advantageous)
• Must be already graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or in final year of university (graduating in Summer 2027)
• Available to start full-time employment no later than July 2027
• Ideally 6+ months of internship experience in M&A, private equity, or other relevant industries
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• An understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
• Strong financial and computer skills
• Proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills
