Export in view — diligence meets responsibility

As an Export Control Officer Aviation at our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, your structured and analytical way of working and your ability to work under pressure are in demand. With your communication skills and service orientation, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly in the sensitive area of export processes.

The maximum gross annual salary is €55,400. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU.

Job description

Tasks

  • Independent administration and monitoring of export control licenses in accordance with AWG, KWKG and US (re-)export law
  • Implementation and enforcement of legally prescribed procedures including shipping releases, transaction stops and audits
  • Legally compliant checking of business transactions for compliance with national and international export regulations
  • Maintenance and documentation of all data relevant to audits and approvals, including notifications, tracking of conditions and deadlines
  • Creation and evaluation of relevant key figures for export control and war weapons management
  • Conducting internal audits and early warnings on compliance with bans, prohibitions and licenses
  • Close cooperation with technical departments and coordination of list checks with technical inspectors
  • Optimization and standardization of internal export processes in close coordination with Compliance and Legal

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business administration, economics or technical studies with a specialization in customs or export control
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of export control, project management, technical documentation or commercial processing
  • Additional qualification in customs law or export control as well as sound knowledge of relevant legal bases (AWG, KWKG, ITAR, EAR)
  • Very good knowledge of the Foreign Trade and War Weapons Control Act and US export law
  • Confident handling of SAP (incl. detailed functions) and MS Office, ideally with a high affinity for IT
  • Business fluent in German and English (at least C1)
  • An unrestricted work permit for the EU is mandatory
