Job Description:

Take off with us! We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space. We are looking for a motivated employee for the position of "Acoustics and Vibration Engineer" (m/f/d).

• Define, perform, and evaluate acoustic and vibration tests: in flight, on ground, and in laboratory.
• Support the qualification of aircraft systems to mechanical environments, including vibration, shocks, and acoustics. Define mechanical requirements for system installation on aircraft. Evaluate experimental evidence based on qualification tests.
• Develop passive and active noise and vibration control solutions for existing and future aircraft.
• Develop and validate numerical models related to noise generation, propagation, transmission, and structural dynamic response to acoustic and vibratory loads.
• Develop and support the creation of safe, innovative, and compliant air vehicles, fulfilling regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and business challenges related to noise and vibration.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering, acoustics, vibration, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in aerospace engineering or similar is mandatory.
• Experience in acoustics and vibration is required.
• Experience with structural dynamic testing, data acquisition, handling, processing, and analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Access, MS Office, and MATLAB.
• Knowledge of vibration environments and qualification processes.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810 is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English; German language skills are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel (once a quarter for one week).
