Python Engineer

At TechBiz Global, we provide recruitment services to our TOP clients. We are currently seeking a Python Engineer to join one of our clients' teams in Prague. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to grow in an innovative environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What you will do :

1. Develop and maintain Python applications.
2. Deliver solid and maintainable software.
3. Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
4. Implement, review, support, and debug the required scope.
5. Write technical specifications and define project architecture.
6. Write unit tests and integration tests.
7. Participate in code reviews.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Tech-stack includes (subject to evolution):

• Languages : Python
• Methodologies : Agile, Scrum (14-day sprints, online stand-ups via Slack)

Job requirements :

1. At least 4-5 years of experience as a Software Developer.
2. Experience with fintech processes; knowledge of card issuing/processing is a big plus.
3. Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).
4. Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.
5. Ability to write understandable and maintainable code in multiple languages.
6. Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
7. Good understanding of Django.
8. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
9. Experience working in cross-functional teams is advantageous.
