You've established your people and resource management ability. Here's where you take it further. You and your team ensure customer delivery requirements meet supply chain delivery commitments to enable on-time delivery. Resolving supply chain issues with strong business acumen and a continuous improvement mindset, in close cooperation with worldwide internal partners, ensures maximized shipping output. You and your team ensure that customer orders are correct and complete to enable timely shipment, while the warehouse team handles effective picking, packing, shipping, exporting, and transportation to customers. Additionally, you and your team will manage customer complaints at the time of delivery (Defect On Arrival - DEFOA) to enable timely and comprehensive corrective actions.

  • This management position heads a team of Logistics Process Analysts and Business Admin personnel, supervising 11 direct reports and 1 Supervisor managing another 12 direct reports.
  • Contribute to and fulfill Logistics KPIs such as compliance, on-time delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborate effectively with business partners as part of Agilent's overall order fulfillment network (working globally and acting locally).
  • Lead cross-regional improvements within Germany, Europe, Global Logistics, and beyond.
  • Develop and implement best practices to drive efficiency and ensure a world-class customer delivery experience.
  • Support and implement digital transformation initiatives across the supply chain logistics organization using innovative, best-in-class technologies and processes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, with relevant managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Several years of practical experience in a similar position, including people management and a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and translate strategy into tactical plans.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, using data to drive decisions.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven, with excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems like SAP is preferred.
  • Business fluent in German and English.
