At RIIICO, we’re reimagining how factories adapt to change. Our AI-powered software makes complex production environments editable, interactive, and collaborative – turning manufacturing planning into something anyone can engage with, not just the experts.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to architect and develop our microservice and compute infrastructure.

Tasks

  • Design and develop our cloud infrastructure
  • Orchestrate microservice apps on our cloud clusters
  • Closely cooperate with frontend & backend teams to ensure fast, high-availability deployments
  • Provision the infrastructure, services, and local compute cluster supporting ground-breaking AI research

Requirements

  • You can thrive in a dynamic environment and solve new problems quickly
  • You are able to work independently, building cloud infrastructure and shaping architecture from the ground up
  • Completed a technical or scientific study program (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
  • You have 1+ years of professional working experience in infrastructure-related programming with Python, JavaScript, or C++
  • You are an enthusiastic Linux user

Bonus:

  • You are proficient with AWS
  • You have experience with IaC (infrastructure-as-code) development (Pulumi, Terraform)
  • You have designed microservices with Docker and Kubernetes

Benefits

  • Additional vacation days
  • Company stock options
  • Flexible working hours
  • Hybrid Office Culture
  • Job Ticket, Urban Sports Club Membership, and more

Why You Should Join

  • Build something that makes a tangible difference in the world’s most important sector – manufacturing
  • Shape a product from first principles, not just manage what’s already built
  • Collaborate with a sharp, hands-on team that values speed, clarity, and ownership
  • Competitive salary & equity package
  • Hybrid setup in Düsseldorf or Aachen with flexibility for deep work and on-site collaboration
  • Backed by top international investors and on a path to scale
