About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineering Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping aspects of a major capital project based in Saxony, Germany. This role will manage design, contractor coordination, procurement, and construction activities within a brownfield environment, ensuring project delivery on quality, schedule, EHS, and cost targets.





Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all MEP design coordination and contractor management
  
• Lead utility distribution, fire protection, and related services
  
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns to minimize production downtime
  
• Oversee procurement strategy and contractor selection
  
• Ensure compliance with quality, schedule, EHS, and cost objectives
  
• Report progress, risks, and issues to Project Manager and senior leadership
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and production departments
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering
  
• 5–10 years’ experience in major industrial capital projects (€10–50M)
  
• Proven experience in brownfield shutdown integration
  
• Strong contract negotiation and multidisciplinary coordination skills
  
• Fluent in English; good knowledge of German
  
• Familiarity with German construction and permitting regulations
