JOB SUMMARY

Jabil is at the forefront of the Connected Living and Digital Commerce markets, experiencing rapid growth and transformation. With over 100 manufacturing sites globally and advanced design and engineering capabilities, Jabil is uniquely positioned to support and accelerate industry expansion. We seek experienced sales professionals with 3-5 years of experience in the EMS / CM industry, particularly focused on this dynamic market. The sales approach is more consultative than transactional, emphasizing complex, long-term solutions and relationships with key executive stakeholders.

Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Connected Living and Digital Commerce

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Business Strategy and Direction: Define, develop, and implement sales strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  2. Customer Trust and Relationships: Build trust with potential and existing customers; understand Jabil's sales process.
  3. Customer Qualification: Qualify new prospects with guidance from senior management.
  4. Client Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.
  5. Strategy Alignment: Understand workcell and business unit strategies relevant to sales.
  6. Collaboration: Work with Business Development, Operations, and Legal teams for quotes and contracts.
  7. Salesforce Utilization: Use Salesforce for targeting and tracking new customers.
  8. Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare forecasts and manage expense budgets.
  9. Technical Responsibilities: Develop customer and product penetration strategies; interpret customer requirements; analyze RFQs; lead negotiations; promote Jabil's capabilities.
  10. Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sector.
  11. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment.
  12. Technical Collaboration: Work with design and engineering teams for solutions.
  13. Global Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing sites for project execution.
  14. Performance Monitoring: Track sales metrics and recommend improvements.
  15. Industry Insight: Stay informed on industry trends and technologies.
  16. Qualifications:
  • 35 years of sales experience in EMS / CM, focusing on Connected Living and Digital Commerce products.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing sales highly preferred.
  • Proven sales record and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in German.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in a team.
  • Strong customer focus, adaptability, and knowledge of logistics and financial analytics.
