For our Information Technology department within General Services, we are looking for a :

Solution Architect (m / f / x)

Our Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in translating idea proposals into comprehensive solution design documents. This position involves close collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team and lead developers to ensure all aspects of the solution are thoroughly documented and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing detailed solution design documents based on initial idea proposals and business analysis.
2. Creating and maintaining precise documentation, including data models, infrastructure designs, application maps, and cost impact analyses.
3. Ensuring all necessary documentation is drafted in collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team and lead developers.
4. Conducting data protection, risk, and security assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Overseeing the completeness of the solution design, initiating design authority meetings, and securing final approval from relevant authorities.
6. Participating in the continuous enhancement of the development process.
7. Developing and standardising documentation and procedures related to software solution designs and integrations.
8. Acting as a technical liaison between project stakeholders, including business units, project leaders, and development teams, providing expert advice and guidance on the implementation and operation of IT solutions.
9. Providing technical leadership and support to team members, offering insights and solutions to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications for success at Luxair include:

1. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience and expertise.
2. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role within IT architecture and design.
3. Exceptional ability to document and articulate complex solutions clearly and effectively.
4. Demonstrated ability in leading assessment processes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal guidelines.
5. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
6. A commitment to continuous learning and a willingness to explore new technologies and tools.
7. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.

Desired skills and knowledge:

1. Strong understanding of Oracle databases and applying this knowledge to solution designs.
2. Proficiency in IT architecture aspects such as integration, data migration, database management (Relational and NoSQL), data modelling, and application design.
3. Experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, data migration, and integration.
