More than 10,000 restaurants in 150+ countries rely on resmio. Our mission : to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly tools that help restaurants succeed. Now, we’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to strengthen our team and take the lead in driving our technology forward.

Your Role

We’re looking for a technical leader who combines management skills with a hands-on development mindset . You’ll lead a small but experienced dev team and actively contribute to system design, coding, and architecture decisions.

Your key responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor our development team (backend and DevOps)
• Manage and continuously improve our technical infrastructure and software systems
• Design and maintain backend services and APIs (Python / Django)
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices
• Monitor system performance, debug issues, and implement solutions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align product and technical goals
• Drive projects from planning to release using agile methods (Scrum)

• Infrastructure : Heroku, AWS (ECS, ECR, SES, Lambda, S3, WAF), DigitalOcean
• DevOps & Monitoring : Docker, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Redis, RabbitMQ
• Frontend : React, MobX
• Traffic : 1M+ monthly visitors across widgets and hosted web apps

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• 1–2+ years in a leadership or tech lead role
• Profound knowledge of Python and Django
• Solid experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills
• Proven track record in managing development processes
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• EU citizenship or valid German work permit
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling Django applications
• Background in DevOps or platform engineering
• Familiarity with frontend development (React)
