You will join an elite team of 60 hands-on builders serving 1 billion students worldwide. If we execute on our product vision, you will have built something generational that transforms education globally.

Your mission

We're looking for an exceptional Staff Mobile Engineer to transform our current mobile application. This is a critical role for a senior individual contributor. Owning the tech decisions behind the Mobile App - you set the tone and others follow.

You’ll ship fast, learn quickly, and see your work used by millions of students around the world. You’ll contribute to both product direction and engineering quality - bringing clarity to trade-offs, opinions to discussions, and impact to metrics. Over time, you’ll become a key voice in the product-engineering loop, known for turning ideas into shipped, loved, and measurable outcomes.

Your track record

You’ve built real products in a fast-moving environment — shipping features, fixing bugs, and balancing quality with speed. You bring hands-on experience with frontend/mobile frameworks like Flutter, React Native, iOS, and Android. You care deeply about users, love clean interfaces, and aren’t afraid to get scrappy to solve real problems.

Must-haves

• Senior-level experience with Flutter or React Native with excellent framework knowledge
• Exceptional eye for detail and passion for quality
• Extensive experience with quality-oriented practices (E2E testing, TDD, unit testing)
• Profound knowledge of development lifecycle practices (CI/CD, A/B testing, release management)
• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability solutions for mobile
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of app performance optimization techniques
• Experience with mobile analytics and crash reporting tools
• Understanding of app store optimization and release strategies

Our Tech Stack

Our app is written in Flutter with Riverpod. Our Golang backend is powered by PostgreSQL and hosted on AWS with Kubernetes. Our AI stack consists of several LLM providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, and Mistral), custom routing engines, and fine-tuned models. Our data stack consists of BigQuery and dbt.
