We are looking for a (Senior) Risk Analyst - Finance (m/f/d)

Full-time, unlimited contract. Join our team at our locations in Berlin, Amsterdam, Heerenveen, Verl, or Baden-Baden – flexible working conditions available.

As a (Senior) Risk Analyst in our Risk Analytics team, you will have a hands-on attitude and be keen to impact our risk assessment by mitigating risks related to affordability and solvency for our customers. Your focus will be on defining, developing, monitoring, and steering our risk strategies across different markets and ecosystems, guided by our vision to become the most human-centric FinTech. The team operates with technology-driven rapid learning and decision-making cycles, with a strong purpose to create value for stakeholders. We have a strong presence in DACH, NL, and Nordics, with ambitions to expand across Europe, including the UK.

The main responsibilities of the (Senior) Risk Analyst include:

1. Actively contributing to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts
2. Continuously improving data analysis and business processes to support product expansion
3. Providing risk insights for pricing requests and collaborating with internal stakeholders on analytical requirements
4. Establishing best practices for ad-hoc and deep dive analyses
5. Participating in the cross-functional "Risk Data Science" team working on machine learning models
6. Collaborating with BI experts to enhance monitoring, reporting, and advanced analytics applications
7. Working closely with functions such as Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance
8. Reporting to the Risk Analytics & Steering Lead, who reports to the Customer Risk Functional Unit Lead

What you should bring :

• Proven experience in data analytics, ideally within the growing payment or fintech industry
• Relevant experience in credit risk management
• Expertise in SQL (mandatory), with Python and R (preferred) for complex analysis
• Experience working in an international, agile, cross-functional environment
• An understanding of new technologies and the potential of data analytics
• A strategic mindset with a strong execution ability
• Language skills: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus
