For our client Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer Process Optimization. The gross annual salary is between € 73,000 and a maximum of € 75,900, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Job description

Tasks

  • Assess new topics and initiatives for their impact on industrial value creation
  • Identify risks, efficiency potentials and opportunities within the processes
  • Develop sound recommendations together with multifunctional teams
  • Build and maintain a global network of key stakeholders and experts
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to integrate holistic perspectives
  • Develop clear assessment processes for industrial topics and requirements
  • Represent industrial interests in the further development of methods and standards within Airbus
  • Build structured dashboards and reporting for transparency and decision support

Requirements

  • Completed studies in engineering, technical studies or industrial engineering
  • Many years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering, project management and process improvement
  • Sound knowledge of Python and SAP as well as confident use of Google Workspace
  • Good knowledge of change management
  • Business fluent in German and English (at least C1 each); knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (approx. every two months)
