As a Cloud and EDGE Monitoring Specialist (f/m/d), you will be at the forefront of our efforts to optimize application landscapes, metric-based monitoring, and data management in cloud, EDGE, and data center operations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage applications, automate and monitor operational services, handle deployment, inventory, asset, and configuration management.
• Develop and operate our monitoring landscape and configuration management systems.
• Consult on monitoring topics and establish services for production (OT) and IoT environments.
• Utilize latest technologies, including AI, primarily developing in Python.
• Embrace DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Develop concepts for seamless, scalable environments supporting OnPrem, Cloud, and EDGE.
• Ensure quality standards and monitoring based on key metrics, with a focus on IT security.
• Organize changes and proactively implement improvements in the IT landscape.
• Work independently, acting as the central point for issues in your area.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, including training.

You excel in

• Education: Bachelor Degree in computer science or comparable qualification, with experience in data center or cloud operations.
• Experience & Skills: Strong focus on metric-based monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), data and log management, REST-API, and Python development. Experience in systems administration, databases, and IT operations (3-5 years). Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Ways of working: Interest in operations, experience in IT projects, openness to international teams, willingness for on-call duties.
• Languages: Excellent English and German skills.
