Our client is an 85-year-old German systems house specialising in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), technical documentation and software development. As a full-service provider for product support and e-learning, the company partners with leading high-technology firms that value reliability, innovation and long-term cooperation.

About the Project

You will help build and extend a dynamic, user-friendly admin panel that powers a large knowledge base and configures key content for specialised technical handbooks. Performance, maintainability and clean code are critical: the application sits at the heart of multiple aerospace products used worldwide.

About the Team

You’ll join an established, international Scrum squad that has worked on this platform for several years. The team collaborates remotely from various locations and meets on-site when deeper technical workshops or major releases call for face-to-face sessions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications on a modern tech stack.
• Build responsive front-ends with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop back-end services in PHP, integrating SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and exposing RESTful APIs.
• Apply modular software-architecture principles to keep the codebase maintainable and extensible.
• Work closely with design and product teams to deliver user-centred solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, write automated tests and perform performance optimisations.
• Safeguard code quality and enforce engineering best practices.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes to deploy, scale and manage containerised applications.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• 5 + years’ experience as a full-stack web developer with strong focus on PHP, RESTful APIs and seamless front-/-back-end integration.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and modular software architecture.
• Solid experience with relational SQL databases and complex query design.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Comfortable with Git and accustomed to agile (Scrum) workflows.
• A keen eye for clean, maintainable code and sound software design.
• Self-driven, solution-oriented and full of creative ideas.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
