Our client is a high-growth industrial technology company driving international expansion in the field of oil-free compressed air solutions. After establishing strategic customer references and a proven value proposition, the company is scaling its global operations. To support this journey, they are now recruiting a:
Missions
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving growth and building long-term strategic customer relationships across the DACH region. This dual-role function combines key account management with business development, requiring both a strategic mindset and hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a key account strategy aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.
- Manage global key accounts with a long-term, customer-centric approach.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction while increasing project profitability.
Business Development
- Identify, validate, and onboard new key accounts supported by strong business case modeling.
- Leverage existing networks and prior experience to accelerate commercial traction.
- Build customer trust and achieve long-term integration into client operations.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales support, technical teams, engineering, and R&D.
Performance Monitoring
- Define KPIs and track the success of key account strategies and business development initiatives.
Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related technical/commercial discipline.
- Proven success in key account management and international B2B sales.
- Experience working with large global accounts and multi-level client engagement.
- Familiarity with the oil-free compressed air industry is a plus, but not essential.
- Skilled in international contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Capable of leading the full sales cycle, from lead generation to lifecycle management.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities; able to build consensus across functions.
- Commercially sharp and technically credible, with the ability to involve engineering and R&D in customer initiatives.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and performance driven.
- Strong analytical and business modeling skills.
Languages
- Fluent in English and German.
Additional Information
- Location: Ideally based in Germany; open to other locations in the DACH region.
- Travel: Required across the region and potentially internationally.
