Your mission

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the supply chain team consisting of six employees in the areas of purchasing, operational and strategic procurement, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Operational and strategic planning and implementation of all department-related tasks, including resource planning.
  • Development and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions, including active negotiation with strategic partners and suppliers.
  • Establishment and maintenance of long-term supplier relationships through targeted communication, personal presence, and remote contact.
  • Optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, material management, and data analysis.
  • Quality assurance along the supply chain in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Initiating cross-functional process optimizations, with recommendations for organizational and strategic changes.
  • Internal training and coaching of teams.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvementin line with our corporate values.
  • Dual reporting to the Vice President Supply Chain in the US and our CTO in Germany.

Your profile

  • Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, ideally with a focus on supply chain, business administration, or engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in supply chain—preferably in medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Experience with complex contract negotiations with suppliers and external service providers.
  • Leadership experience with a strong ability to develop employees and teams and promote individual strengths in a targeted manner.
  • Confident communication skills at the operational and strategic level.
  • Very good German skills (C1) and confident English skills (at least B2) in writing and speaking.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
