Role Summary
We seek a technically skilled Aftermarket Sales Engineer, reporting to the LNG Manager, to manage and grow our aftermarket business in Spain and Portugal. The role involves sales of spare parts, field service, repairs, and upgrades for cryogenic pumps and systems, primarily in the LNG segment.
You will maintain strong customer relationships, identify service needs, and support the full sales process from inquiry to order. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to ensure customer satisfaction and regional growth. Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Manage all sales activities within Spain and Portugal, maintain a sales pipeline, negotiate agreements, and meet sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, understand their needs, and maximize value.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our products to effectively demonstrate value and address inquiries.
- Market Research: Analyze regional markets to understand competition, customer preferences, and identify new opportunities.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement regional sales plans to drive growth.
- Sales Reporting: Use Salesforce to track performance, forecast sales, and report on strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, engineering, and logistics teams.
- Customer Service: Ensure high service standards and resolve issues professionally.
- Sales Training: Attend and lead training sessions to stay updated.
- Presentation Skills: Deliver engaging presentations to clients.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations and finalize contracts.
- Brand Representation: Promote the company's values and products at industry events.
- Industry Monitoring: Keep abreast of industry developments and report to management.
- Product Promotion: Promote NCEIG products, follow up on leads, and share opportunities internally.
- Documentation: Record activities in CRM.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or technical sales, preferably in cryogenics or pumps.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (business and legal vocabulary); other languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Sales, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields is advantageous.
- 3-5 years in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Proven ability to work well with team members at all levels.
- Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven.
- Leadership qualities to foster team spirit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Good time management and ability to handle changing priorities.
- Experience with major projects, transactions, and bid proposals.
- Understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Willingness to travel.
